Marilyn Monroe

This woman is known for her blonde hair, mole above the lip, and strong personality. I don't admire her or look up to her... But she was stunning. This is a charcoal piece I did last night.

North! or be eaten's "Horned Hound."

I'm so sorry for not posting a thing in almost two months. I know.. it was a horrible crime and I should be sent to jail for a life's sentence. I have drawn, i have! But... I just haven't put them up because they are pittiful and not blog worthy.

On a better note, Last Thursday (December 13) I went to my second Andrew Peterson's Behold the Lamb of God concert in Whiteville, NC. I first heard of him by an upcoming concert in 5th grade by my teacher, Meg Hinson who really loved his music. I was expecting it to be just like all other concerts by all other singers. But I was so mistaken. At that concert he sang songs from his CD "Counting Stars." and I fell in love with his music. I also found that he had written two books, "On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness" and "North! or be Eaten". and was working on his third, "Monster in the Hollows" The next day he came to our school and told us about his books and I bought them with my own money. Within the next two weeks I had finished both and was so excited for the third. So with that, I am now a drawer and love Andrew's illustrations in the books. So the first Illustration is a, Horned Hound.  (I forgot to mention throughout these books There is much nerdy, dorky humor.) and so, I drew it of course!

Also while I was drawing my dad was saying how he could draw that, "strange looking mutt" in no time.. this is his:

The picture of my "Horned Hound is a little bad because my nice camera broke and I had to use my phone. Better pictures after Christmas.. (new camera on its way (: )

Blow dryer, Crayons and Cardboard.

My sister had a box of 96 count crayola crayons. We were making a little project tearing up a pinning board and inside was some cardboard and She decided that we should make a board of melted wax. The original Idea was to make it run down the board but when it began to splatter we thought it liked even cooler. She did them in color coordination. When we finished we fixed them again by sharpening them and then we heated the board by putting the hair dryer on it. Then we poured the pencil shavings on it and pushed on it so it stuck then we melted it with the blow dryer. I held the crayons in place and propped it up while my sister melted them.

Firnen-finiarel

I finished Christopher Paolini's Inheritance Cycle. I don't know what to do anymore. I guess I'll draw. So since this is the last dragon I'm going to draw (exept re-doing Saphira) so I took a long time on it and as much detail as possible. Also I took a lot of pictures. So here lies Arya Drottning Shadeslayer Dragonkiller's dragon Firnen-finarel. Enjoy.
